I was browsing through my grammar book again today and saw an old nemesis. 兼ねる and I seem to have a hard time getting along. So today I thought I would try my best with the grammar point ~を兼ねて・~と~を兼ねて. Continue reading “Grammar is a friend #2”

Weekly check-in #1
This is definitely nowhere near impressive, especially considering it was about 2 weeks or so ago when I started up again. But I do want to be able to see how I do from week to week! I wanted to start working on another series, so I began working on Fire Emblem Three Houses. It’s exciting because I’ve literally never played a Fire Emblem game, but I’m constantly hearing good things aboutContinue reading “Adventures in Aegisub: 1”
Keeping track.

It’s a bit easy to break down when you look at the kanji individually, which I definitelyContinue reading “Keeping track.”
The same journey with a new mind.
Oh boy, starting a blog on a new-to-me platform! My name is Manda, and I’m one of many people out there trying their best to learn Japanese. Over the years I’ve started and stopped too many times to count. I guess stopped might not be the best word, but I would have periods of absoluteContinue reading “The same journey with a new mind.”
